On this hump day Wednesday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, the duo discuss the tardiness of the jury's verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial that by all accounts was supposed to be delivered at some point yesterday. What's taking them so long to issue the clear-cut not guilty verdict? Bernie & Sid speculate that some members of the jury might be intimidated by the mobs of protesters they can hear outside the courthouse as they deliberate. This whole mess of a trial should conclude at some point this Wednesday afternoon hopefully with an acquittal of the defendant Kyle Rittenhouse. Other news of the day includes New Year's Eve Celebrations in Times Square making a comeback this year, the Kamala Harris versus Joe Biden feud that has Biden cabinet members scrambling to correct the record, Jumaane Williams announcing his run for Governor of New York, Ted Cruz eviscerating Alejandro Mayorkas regarding the crisis at the border, and the farewell bid to legendary Sports Talk Radio Host Steve Somers who calls in to the program in today's second hour. In addition to the legend Steve Somers, Bernie & Sid chat with former Congressman Peter King as they do every Wednesday morning, along with 2022 congressional candidate Nick De Gregorio and Father Francis Gasparik who calls in to promote the Turkey Drive taking place outside his St. John the Baptist Church later on this morning. All this and more on Wednesday's installment of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, including fresh editions of Lidia Reports and The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest.
