On this Thursday edition of Sid & Friends in the Morning, Sid reacts to the press conference from the White House yesterday that saw President Biden welcome in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. President Biden took the opportunity to inform President Zelensky that the United States is planning to send an additional $45 billion in aide to Ukraine as part of their spending bill dubbed the Omnibus bill. Utah Senator Mike Lee and other Republicans are strongly opposed to the bill, pointing out that they've had almost no time to actually look over the document before being asked to sign off on it. In addition to that mess, the GOP are also simultaneously trying to keep Title 42 in effect as the looming influx of illegals flooding the border hangs over their heads. In other news of the day, the WABC Christmas Party is set to take place tonight at the station's headquarters, Congressman-elect George Santos still has a plethora of questions to answer regarding his allegedly fraud backstory and resume, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is still begging for $1 billion from the Federal government to help with the migrant crisis here in the city, and Mets owner Steve Cohen gifts Mets fans the most expensive baseball team in history for Christmas.
