On this Thursday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, Sid reacts to President Biden making the announcement that he'll be tapping into the strategic petroleum reserve once again to try and combat inflation and sky-high gas prices. This is clearly just a saving face strategy from Biden and his administration to try and give the Democrats at least a little momentum heading into the midterm elections. As it currently stands, a big red wave is coming in November, and that reality is clearly starting to set in for the Democrats. They are shaking in their boots as it becomes clearer that the GOP might take back both the House and the Senate come Election Day. In other news of the day, Kanye West won't shut up his anti-semitic mouth, Kathy Hochul keeps running from Lee Zeldin, Dr. Oz appears on Hannity to further drive home the point that his opponent John Fetterman is unfit for office, the NHL's EVP of Social Impact Kim Davis says the NHL is too white and too male, and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has no clue how to answer any questions regarding the current migrant crisis.
