Bernie and Sid in the Morning
On this Friday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, we pay our respects to fallen NYPD Detective Jason Rivera, who’s funeral is being held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Sid gets you through the first half of today’s program, before heading off to attend the funeral which began at 9 AM. Curtis Sliwa takes the baton for the second half of today’s program, but the overarching theme remained consistent throughout. Who of the cop haters throughout the city will put their crocodile tears on display today? Will AOC even acknowledge the death of these two officers? Will Reverend Al Sharpton attend the morning mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral? We cannot and will not give these “defund the police” lunatics a pass when it was their ideals that directly led to murder of Jason Rivera. We Back the Blue here at 77 WABC, and we always will.
