Bernie & Sid in the Morning get your week started with a stack of somber news on this Monday morning. A rogue fire blazed through an apartment building in the Bronx, killing 19 people including 9 children. On top of that local horrific disaster, legendary comic and "America's Dad" Bob Saget passed away this weekend from causes unknown. This news coming after Betty White's and Sidney Poitier's sudden deaths last week. In other news of the day, Mayor Eric Adams hires his own brother, Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg continues to spew nonsense, Alec Baldwin is refusing to hand his phone over to authorities, Ted Cruz calls January 6th a "violent terrorist attack," Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor delivers a stream of misinformation regarding COVID, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky jumps on Sotomayor's misinformation ship and goes down with it, Former NYC Police Commissioner Bill Bratton calls out D.A. Alvin Bragg for effectively handcuffing the police, Mayor Adams saying he'll back De Blasio's policy allowing 800k non-citizens to vote, and President Biden proves that he may not have any clue as to what inflation is and the mark it's leaving on our country.
