Bernie and Sid in the Morning
On this Wednesday edition of the morning show, Sid continues to cover the backlash former President Trump is receiving for his meeting on Saturday with known bigots Kanye West and Nick Fuentes. Sid is still having a lot of trouble understanding the Trump defense arguments being put forth by the likes of Sebastian Gorka and other conservative mainstream media hosts, because Trump’s decision to meet with Kanye and Fuentes is indefensible. Sid makes it abundantly clear that he’s not quite ready to jump off of the Trump 2024 bandwagon, but he is getting dangerously close. The former President is all out of mistakes, as Sid puts it, and if the Republicans want any chance of winning in 2024 they need to find someone with the guts to tell him where he needs to pump the brakes. In other news of the day, the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team tops the Iran national team in their final Group B match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to advance to the knockout round, a brand-new casino may be on the horizon on Staten Island, Mayor Eric Adams details his mental health initiative in detail, and Lee Zeldin claps back at Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg for calling Zeldin’s gubernatorial campaign racist. Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella, former New York gubernatorial candidate Andrew Giuliani, Sid’s mother Naomi Rosenberg, former Congressman Peter King, Defense Attorney Joe Tacopina and the aforementioned Lee Zeldin join the program, and as always make sure you don’t miss out on the Wednesday installment of Lidia Reports with Lidia Curanaj.
