Disastrous Democracy | 01-20-22

Happy Friday-eve from the whole team at Bernie & Sid in the Morning. Today, Sid dives deep into President Biden's disastrous press conference that took place yesterday. Just like we predicted, Biden did his best to sugarcoat an abysmal first year in office. He lied profusely saying that he has indeed gotten things done when he clearly hasn't, he blamed COVID for the American people's frustration with his administration, and anywhere he could would blame former President Trump and his administration for his incompetence. What's new? In other news, the filibuster stands in the Senate after a vote on the matter took place yesterday, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken addresses the United States' plans regarding Russia and their potential invasion of Ukraine. As always, stay tuned for another special "Beat Sid" edition of The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest and of course the Thursday installment of Lidia Reports.
