Sid and Friends in the Morning
On this Thursday edition of Sid & Friends in the Morning, breaking news drops in today’s third hour of programming, as Brittney Griner has officially been released from Russian prison after a prisoner swap was made for the WNBA star to return home after her 10-year prison sentence for trying to sneak a marijuana wax pen into the country. Reports say that the trade for Griner included Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, appropriately nicknamed “The Merchant of Death.” A fair trade? Probably not, but a trade that needed to be done nonetheless. As Americans, we don’t abandon our own, so whatever it took to get Brittney back to the home front was ultimately worth it. In other news of the day, Letitia James tries to correct the record regarding her response to top aide Ibrahim Khan’s resignation over sexual assault allegations, Tom Sullivan and Lester Chang continue to fight the good fight for the good of our state and country, Sid is torn between former President Trump being a moron and a great leader during his term, both of which he is, and begs real Trump supporters to call out the former President’s mistakes in hopes that he might be influenced to change his behavior of late. Congressman-elect Mike Lawler, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Bill O’Reilly and Dr. Marc Siegel join the program, and as always make sure you don’t miss out on the Thursday installment of Lidia Reports with Lidia Curanaj.
