That’s right, nobody is perfect, not even President Trump. To the surprise of everyone, Bernie uttered the words ‘he was wrong’ while discussing the back and forth between President Trump and Andrew Cuomo over who has the power to reopen states economies. Though testing is still limited, the country does seem to be on track to reopen its economy around May 1st and Bernie and Sid have all of the latest on the stimulus checks Americans will be receiving, the logistics of how this reopening of the economy will happen, and plenty more on what America is doing to find a cure for COVID 19. Plus, Sid is happy to hear that the president is sick of watching reruns of old baseball games and wants to get pro sports back up and running ASAP. Sid also had the chance to talk with Rudy Giuliani yesterday about the passing of Hank Steinbrenner, the son of George Steinbrenner, and reminisce about the Yankees success while Giuliani was mayor. As for guest, Dr Patrick Borgen has great news coming out of Maimonides Medical Center about treating COVID 19 patients with plasma from those who have defeated the virus. Actor Dennis Quaid stops by to talk about his new podcast and weighs in on the health crisis the country is in the midst of. And finally, Little Steven, Steven Van Zandt gives Bernie and Sid an update on how he is spending his time in New Jersey during the shelter in place order implemented by Governor Murphy.
