(New York, NY) – Bruce Springsteen is coming under fire after a concert in Minneapolis took a seriously political turn. The “Born in the USA” singer did not have a lot of love for the Red, White and Blue and some critics are calling him a “traitor”.

Springsteen kicked off the “Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour” in Minneapolis. He told the crowd in the middle of the show that “we are living through some very dark times” and that American values are “being challenged as never before”. Springsteen slammed the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement saying immigrants are being sent to “foreign gulags” without due process. Springsteen held up a “No Kings” sign in protest of President Trump.

Springsteen has been vocal about his opposition to the current administration and its immigration crackdown. He released a song following protests in Minneapolis that saw the shooting deaths of two American citizens by federal agents. The Jersey rocker released “Streets of Minneapolis” and warned that the subsequent tour would be very political.
