(New York, NY) – Mayor Zohran Mamdani is slamming Operation Epic Fury as simply a “regime change war”. Appearing in an interview with Brian Tyler Cohen, the young Democratic Socialist said the war “should be opposed on every single ground”. Mamdani said the conflict is being financed by money that should be going to struggling US citizens. The mayor has been vocal in his opposition from the onset of the military operation.
Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit…

President Trump, who has a pretty friendly relationship with the city mayor, has been floating a possible deployment of American troops on Iranian soil. That would mark an escalation in the war that has caused domestic gas prices to soar.
