(NEW YORK ) — The FBI has released surveillance footage showing a person of interest casually walking past responding police officers shortly after a shooting near Brown University that killed two students and injured nine others.
Authorities say the footage was captured in the immediate aftermath of the attack and may provide critical leads in the investigation. No suspect has been publicly identified, and no arrests have been announced.

To aid the manhunt, the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to those responsible. Officials are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or has relevant information to come forward.
The shooting triggered a massive law enforcement response and prompted campus safety alerts as investigators reviewed surveillance video and interviewed witnesses. A motive has not been released, and officials say the investigation remains ongoing.

Kash Patel said the release of the surveillance footage is meant to generate new leads and urged anyone who recognizes the individual to contact authorities immediately.
“This was a targeted act of extreme violence that devastated a campus community,” an official said. “We are committed to identifying everyone involved and holding them accountable.”
