(New York, NY) — The 2026 Color of the Year is “Cloud Dancer” or (PANTONE 11-4201) to be more exact. It may look like white to you, but Pantone says the color “encourages true relaxation and focus.” If you’re like me, you’re getting your stain remover pen ready. Who hasn’t spilled spaghetti sauce on your white shirt or pants?
The color authority describes the color as a “billowy balanced white” that creates a feeling of serenity and serves as a calming influence. In addition, Motorola is coming out with a cell phone in “Cloud Dancer” and it will also appear on Play-doh, Post-it Notes and Joybird Furniture. In addition, Spotify will have a dedicated playlist celebrating the color.
Meantime, “Cloud Dancer” isn’t doing so well on social media. Some say its “a swing and a miss” or “the absence of color.” Pantone has selected a Color of the Year for 25 years.
