(Hoboken, NJ) — Riders who use the Hoboken station for the PATH will get free or discounted rides this week starting today due to delays from repairs being made from switch problems blamed for a July 12 derailment.
Hoboken riders have the option to use NJ Transit instead of Hoboken Terminal through Friday night. There’s also discounted New York Waterway ferry tickets available for PATH riders through Friday.
NJ Transit rail will cross-honor PATH customers at Hoboken, Secaucus, New York Penn Station. NJ Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail will cross-honor PATH customers at Exchange Place, Newport and Hoboken stations. NY Waterway will offer $3 discounted ferry tickets for PATH customers on select routes and at specific times:
Riders must show a valid PATH fare payment card or the virtual cross-honoring pass to get the discount.
