(Bronx, NY) – New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign office in the Bronx was recently vandalized. The culprits used red paint and a sign to accuse her of “funding genocide in Gaza.”
This follows criticism from pro-Palestine groups after the US provided additional funding for Israel. The NYPD is investigating the vandalism – but no arrests have been made.
AOC’s campaign staff emphasized the need for safety, and so a scheduled event in Queens was canceled amid the security concerns.
