(New York, NY) – Former LSU gymnast turned social media star, Olivia “Livvy” Dunne said she was denied by a co-op board when trying to secure a pad in New York City. The board stopped her from purchasing a historic three-bedroom apartment that was once owned by Yankees legend Babe Ruth.
The Upper West Side apartment is listed for $1.59 million – Dunne planned to pay all cash and hired an interior designer alongside her boyfriend, MLB pitcher Paul Skenes. She was days away from getting the keys when the board voted against her.
She said online that she is confused and disappointed. Dunne thinks her rejection could be tied to her time at LSU — or residents maybe not wanting a “public figure” living there.
