(New York, NY) — Macy’s is holding a dress rehearsal Monday evening June 30th for its July 4th Fireworks Spectacular. This year’s show will launch from four barges in the East River at the Seaport District and from the Brooklyn Bridge. Meantime, the city is offering 100-thousand free tickets for viewing areas in Brooklyn Bridge park or Pier 16 and 17 at the Seaport. Starting Tuesday July 1st at 8:30 a.m., tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis online. You can request up-to-four tickets for Brooklyn Bridge Park or up-to-two tickets for The Seaport area.
Meantime, viewers are prohibited from bringing alcohol, backpacks, blankets, coolers, chairs, umbrellas, large bags and duffle bags to both areas.
