(New York, NY) — Artificial Intelligence is now being used in medicine. Doctors at Stony Brook University’s Heart Institute are using AI to detect early signs of heart disease. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and now AI is another tool in their diagnostic tool box.
Stony Brook is the first hospital in New York to use the technology with heart patients. The AI has analyzed data from thousands of heart patients to come up with its own analysis. Cardiologist Dr. On Chen says there is no other technology that can give you a complete picture like AI does, when it comes to heart disease.
