(New York, NY) — Movie popcorn is going insane. After the movie popcorn bucket for “Dune Part Two” went viral, now “Mission Impossible- The Final Reckoning” is joining the mix. On Instagram, Regal Cinemas revealed that the popcorn bucket for the movie will have a two-part key to open it.
The bucket looks like a red pressure cooker with clear plastic in the middle where you can see the popcorn. The buckets have been popular because it brings in extra revenue to movie theaters. Meantime, last year after all the hype around the “Dune Part Two” movie, the resale value of its popcorn bucket on eBay was over 800-dollars.
