syndication-the-town-talk-4

Last year, Newark approved a change to lower the voting age to 16 for school board elections only, becoming the first city in New Jersey to allow those under the age of 18 to vote.

Voters in Newark will choose three out of 11 candidates to serve a three-year term on the Newark school board.
