(Gloucester Township, NJ) – A New Jersey woman is facing charges in a murder – for – hire plot. Jaclyn Diiorio, 26, was arrested after messaging who she thought was a hitman but was actually a confidential informant. Prosecutors say that she offered the fake hitman $12,000 to kill her 53-year-old ex-boyfriend, who is an officer with the Philadelphia police department, along with his 19-year-old daughter.

She met the supposed hitman on the dating app Tinder, and exchanged several calls and texts. Then, she met the informant in-person at a dollar general store and gave him $500 as a down payment – that’s when officers swarmed Diiorio. She’s currently in custody facing charges including attempted murder and conspiracy.
