Investigators think they know what killed Brett Gardner’s son

(New York, NY) — Carbon monoxide poisoning may have caused the death of the teenage son of former Yankee Brett Gardner. Miller Gardner died on March 21st while on a family vacation in Costa Rica. Other members of the family feel ill at the resort, but they recovered. Miller was found dead in his bed.

Investigators revealed that tests show there were high levels of carbon monoxide contamination in the family’s hotel room. The room was right near a mechanical room. Investigators say it is believed some form of contamination may have reached the guest rooms of the hotel.
