(Las Vegas, NV) — Police in Las Vegas are searching for the person or people who did major damage to a Tesla service center there. Cops say they used Molotov cocktails and shot at least three rounds into cars at the Tesla Collision Center early Tuesday morning. Investigators say the incident has “some of the hallmarks” of terrorism. Surveillance footage shows someone dressed in black damaging at least five Tesla vehicles, two of which were set on fire. The word “resist” was also painted on the front doors of the business. Assistant Clark County, Nevada Sheriff Dori Koren says it was a targeted attack and could have been politically motivated.
San Diego police say on Monday vandals spray painted curse words on the side of a Tesla dealership building. They also spray painted swastikas on some cars.
The attacks on Tesla dealerships and cars across the country have all come after the company’s owner, Elon Musk endorsed President Trump and then took on the job of finding government waste. That has led to huge layoffs of federal workers across the nation.
