(New York, NY) — Mayor Adams says he is running for re-election, but he has no campaign manager today, and there are no Adams campaign signs out on the streets. The Democratic primary is in June. Adams told reporters Tuesday that New Yorkers will warm back up to him when he reminds them of all that he has accomplished over the last three years. A recent poll of New Yorkers finds Adams with just a 20 percent approval rating.
Adams says he is not bothered by all the endorsements former Governor Andrew Cuomo has secured since getting into the race. He says voters don’t care about them. Adams says he can wait a while to officially announce his run, because he is already mayor and meets voters everyday
