(Undated) — A Flaming Hot Cheeto shaped like a Pokemon is selling at auction for 88-thousand-dollars. The Cheeto is shaped like the Pokemon Charizard, and the bidding war got pretty heated, going from 250-dollars to 72-thousand in less than a month. The anonymous buyer also paid over 15-thousand-dollars in fees, bringing the total for “Cheetozard” to just under 88-thousand-bucks.
Meanwhile, California lawmakers are advancing a bill banning the sale of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in public schools. The measure, sponsored by San Fernando Valley Assemblyman Jesse Gabriel, would ban food products with certain chemical food dyes that have been found to be toxic to humans. Other products would fall under the ban, including Fruit Loops cereal. The bill cleared the Assembly on 59-to-zero vote, but 21 lawmakers abstained. The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.
