(Bronx, NY) – You can call Aaron Judge, “the captain,” — in fact he’s the 16th in Yankees history. Many say “all rise,” when thinking of his prowess as a slugger — as they observe the proceedings in the Bronx’s Judge’s chambers. But soon Judge will respond to the all-important title, “dad.”
Judge announced that his wife and he are expecting a baby. He shared the news in a pre-recorded message played at the New York chapter’s Baseball Writers’ Association of America dinner. MLB.com also reported that Judge apologized for not being able to join in person — as he was awarded the AL MVP award for 2024. It marked the second time he won the award, after bringing home he hardware in 2022.
In 2021, the 32-year-old Judge and his wife Samantha Bracksieck tied the knot. They attended both high school and college together.
