(Nashville, TN) – A deadly school shooting unfolded today in Nashville, Tennessee. The shots first rang out around 11:00 AM inside the cafeteria of Antioch High School. Cops say two female students were hit by gunfire. The gunman has been identified as a 17-year-old male who was a student at the school — he turned the gun on himself and died. One of the female students also died after being shot.
Police say two people were wounded and hospitalized following the shooting.
This comes after the 2023 school shooting in Nashville that unfolded at a private, Christian school. In that incident, 28-year-old Audrey Hale opened fire at her former school and killed six people. She was then shot dead by responding police.
