Trump's "special ambassadors" to Hollywood will aim to restore the film industry's Golden Age.

(Washington, DC) – President-elect Trump is headed back to Washington. But he’s got a new set of “eyes and ears” in Tinseltown.

On Thursday, Trump announced he has appointed three longtime actors and directors as “special ambassadors” to Hollywood. Trump says the trio of Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight will work to bring the film business back to the US, in terms of production that’s instead moved abroad. He adds Hollywood will soon be “bigger better and stronger than ever before.”

Trump is pushing for a return to the “Golden Age of Hollywood” and says the new ambassadors will help. Many conservatives and members of “MAGA” say the film industry has moved decidedly “left” in its aim and message. This includes widespread criticism of Disney films like Star Wars, which seemingly embraced “DEI” and other areas of focus that many fans objected to.
