Where will TikTok users go if a ban begins?

(New York, NY) — Some of TikTok’s rivals say they are seeing a surge in popularity ahead of a Supreme Court decision on a law that could ban TikTok in the United States. Rednote, another China based app reports a urge in users. Same goes for Lemone8, which is an app based out of Singapore.

The impending TikTok ban stems from concerns by members of Congress that China could manipulate the content Americans see on TikTok or use it to steal their data. President-elect Trump, who once pushed for a TikTok ban himself, now opposes the law and has said he’ll push to save the app when he takes office.
