NY: Subway riding in New York
(New York, NY) — NYPD cops are searching for a straphanger who stabbed a fellow rider in the chest late Tuesday night at the Seventh Avenue subway stop in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The attack took place after some sort of argument between the two men around 11 p.m. The 30-year-old victim was rushed to New York-Presbyterian hospital, and is expected to recover.
Detectives could be seen canvassing the station for clues early Wednesday morning. The wanted man was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and black pants.
The NYPD was recently touting a 16 percent drop in subway crime in November.
