(Tel Aviv, Israel) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is offering a five-million-dollar reward for each hostage released from Gaza. He also says people who help free Israeli hostages from Hamas will be given passage out of the devastated Gaza Strip. He made the announcement Tuesday on a visit to Gaza, where Israel estimates around 100 captives are still being held. They were among the hundreds captured by Palestinian militants during the October 7th, 2023 attack that left over a thousand Israelis dead.
The Israeli leader also has a warning to those who harm or kill hostages. Netanyahu said The IDF will eventually track down those who fail to hand over anyone they are holding captive. He says Israel will never give up on getting every single hostage taken from Israel, back home.
