(New York, NY) — A 20-year-old is facing charges for bringing a loaded machine gun into a Bronx subway station on Monday. Police say the weapon fell out of Abraham Sosa’s backpack at the Kingsbridge subway stop, as they went to arrest him for ignoring a no trespassing sign and refusing to show his I.D. As cops struggled with Sosa, the gun tumbled out of his backpack. Officers were shocked. He also has 25 bullets with him.
The 20-year-old told police he was carting around the machine gun, because his mother told him she did not want him leaving it around her apartment.
