(New York, NY) – One of the candidates running for New York City Dog Mayor is dropping out of the race. AM New York reports that of the two final candidates – Enzo the Shih Tzu and Bertram the Pomeranian – Enzo is putting his paws up and pulling out of the race.
Enzo’s owner says she made the decision after being bombarded online with negative and disturbing comments about Enzo. She pointed the finger at the Crypto Community – who came out and backed Bertram in the race. The Dog Mayor founder, Stephen Calabria says they do not condone any negativity but they simply cannot control what happens online. Finding a new opponent for Bertram has pushed the vote back from November 4th to November 11th.
