(Atlanta, GA) – Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A is hoping to entertain its fans beyond just good chicken. The company is referring to it as an entertainment app that is the “ultimate digital playground.” Further tokened as the “Chick-fil-A Play,” it will feature what the chain refers to as wholesome games, arts-and-crafts videos, and animated books. Child-focused podcasts will also be featured.
The plan is to launch the app in November. A streamed Chick-fil-A original series will be included, called Legends of Evergreen Hills. Over the past few years, Chick-fil-A has developed five Evergreen Hills short films, which is the inspiration for the series.
Dustin Britt is the brand strategy director for Chick-fil-A. He says “hospitality and fun have always been at the core of the Chick-fil-A family experience, whether inside our restaurants and play areas, or through our Kids Meals.”
