(New York, NY) – Today is the first day that you can cast your ballot in the Empire and Garden States. In New Jersey, this will be the first time ever that voters get to head to the polls before the general election for a presidential race.

Voters in New York can head to www.elections.ny.gov/early-voting to find your polling place for early voting.  City residents can go to www.vote.nyc/elections to check their early voting site by county. The American Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side will transform into a polling place for early voting for the first time.

For New Jersey voters, residents can go www.nj.gov/state/elections/vote-early-voting.shtml to find their polling place. Voters can cast their ballot at any site in their county of residence.

Early voting runs in both states through November 3rd, the Sunday before Election Day. Today is also the last day to register to vote.
