(New York, NY) — Tickets to the first Dodgers-Yankees World Series in over four decades will set you back big time. SeatGeek says the cheapest ticket for Friday’s Game 1 at Dodger Stadium will be around at least 12-hundred dollars. And don’t expect prices to be any cheaper for Saturday’s Game 2. The series shifts to New York for Game 3 on Monday and tickets,  if you can get them will cost you at least eleven-hundred bucks. Fans are willing to shell out the money though, ticket sales have been brisk on second tier sites.

Yankees ace Gerrit Cole will start Game One of the World Series. Manager Aaron Boone confirmed Monday that Cole will get the nod. He did not announce the order of the rest of their rotation but said there is a “good chance” it remains the same as the ALCS. That would put Carlos Rodon in line to start Game Two, Clarke Schmidt would go in Game Three and Luis Gil in Game Four.
