(Charlotte, NC) – Earlier this week, it was a cell phone outage. Now, Bank of America customers are having issues accessing their accounts.
It was around 1:00 PM on Wednesday when customers first reported problems — according to website Downdetector. Apparently users are unable to log into their accounts — and account balances sometimes won’t display or show as zero. Many customers say they’ve been greeted by messages that read “accounts temporarily unavailable,” when log in is impossible.
It’s not clear what’s causing the issue for Bank of America. The institution ranks as the second-largest bank in the US, with $2.55 trillion in assets.
