(Huntington Station, NY) — Suffolk County police have a murder mystery to solve after a woman in Huntington Station led them to a suitcase Tuesday that had a body inside it. The woman says she smelled something foul on Nassau Road Tuesday, and called police to come in and check out the suitcase with flies around it. Inside cops found body parts. A short time later a medical examiner arrived on the scene and took the body away.
Neighbors say they are freaked out by the find and are hoping police can give them some answers quickly. Police are unsure how long the suitcase was sitting out in the open before it was found. The Medical Examiner will try and ID the body and determine the cause of death. Police are hoping cameras in the area will help them figure out who dropped off the suitcase.
