Democratic National Convention continues

(Chicago, Illinois) – The Democratic National Convention continues Wednesday after some big name speeches Tuesday night. The theme for Wednesday at the DNC is “A Fight for our Freedoms.”Democrat heavyweights Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Vice President nominee Tim Walz are expected to speak.  Other speakers of note will include U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Maryland Governor Wes Moore.

Tuesday night brought former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama as keynote speakers. Michelle Obama said ” Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us,  See his limited, narrow view of the world, made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard-working and highly educated, successful people who happen to be Black.” The speaker slate Tuesday also included two Republicans: former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham and Mesa, Arizona mayor John Giles.
