Would You Try This Beyoncé Spirit?

mixcollage-20-aug-2024-04-25-pm-2891

Beyoncé accepts the award for best dance/electronic music album for Renaissance becoming the all-time winner for the most Grammy Awards during the 65th Annual Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023.

(Houston, TX) – The Queen Bee wants you to try her whiskey. The superstar singer-songwriter has entered the liquor business. In partnership with master distiller Bill Lumsden and Moet Hennessy, Beyoncé has unveiled her “SirDavis” whiskey brand.

Shared in an Instagram post, the bottle features a gold horse on its side. Beyoncé explains the name “SirDavis” is a nod to her gradfather, whose first name was Davis. Her son’s name is sir.

Beyonce says her grandfather was a “moonshine” man during prohibition. “I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,” the singer explains. “When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy. In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category.”

Bottles of the whiskey retail for around $90. Pre-sales will start immediately on the Houston-based company’s website. Select retailers are expected to start carrying SirDavis whiskey in September — across the United States, as well as in Tokyo, Paris, and London.
