(Margate, NJ) – There’s always plenty to do at the Jersey Shore. Many enjoy getting some sun and sand at the beach. Others might hit the casinos in Atlantic City. Some just want to walk the boardwalk in Wildwood or Seaside Heights. But what about checking out the Budweiser Clydesdales?
Well, at least for a couple days — it’s an option. The Budweiser Clydesdales — Bud’s brand ambassadors — held a meet-and-greet in Margate on Thursday, with plans to hit Long Beach Island on Friday. Eight horses with the harness pulled Budweiser’s iconic beer wagon around Margate.
In order to qualify as a Budweiser Clydesdale, the horses must be three-years-old, six-feet tall at the shoulder, and weigh an average of 2,000 pounds.
