Bodega kitty Cat-napped

(Queens, NY) – A bodega owner in Queens is seeking help after a thief stole the only priceless thing in the store, his kitty. 18-year-old Antonio – has been the bodega cat at K’Glen Deli & Sari-Sari Store in Woodside, Queens for more than a decade. During his (Antonio’s) shift earlier this month Antonio was relaxing on his front doorstep licking the concrete sidewalk right after the rainfall, like we all do, when someone snatched him up.

Antonio put up a fight, evading the catnapper the first time around. But on the second go, the bodegas cameras caught the catnapper trying again, and successfully stealing the puss.

Owner, Glen Alagasi was inside the store during the sickening act. Algasi says Antonio needs his medicine. Alagasi says he doesn’t even care about pressing charges, he just wants Antonio home safe & sound.

Missing cat posters are up, and friends have launched an Instagram page to try and help bring Antonio home.
