(Washington, DC) — Former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have finally endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris’s run for the White House. The thumbs up came in a phone call from the former First Couple that was released early Friday morning.  Obama could be heard saying, “Michelle and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office.” In a joint statement announcing the endorsement, the Obamas said, “There is no doubt in our mind that Kamala Harris has exactly what it takes to win this election and deliver for the American people.” It’s not clear why the Obama endorsement came six days after the Clintons and other high ranking Democrats enthusiastically endorsed Harris’s candidacy
