(Rockaway Beach, Queens)- An NYPD drone captured footage of another shark sighting off of Rockaway Beach. This is the third shark sighting at the beach this summer. At least two sharks were reported on Thursday afternoon, leading to a partial shutdown of the beach. No one has been injured.
The NYPD says their drones will continue to monitor the waters for any other shark sightings or swimmers in distress.
