(Atlanta, Georgia) – The first debate of the 2024 presidential election is set to take place in 14 days. CNN Anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will serve as moderators. The first of a two debate series will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on June 27th at 9 p.m ET. The second debate will be held September 10th, moderated by ABC anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis. The debates will be held with no live audience “To ensure candidates may maximize the time allotted in the debate, no audience will be present,” CNN said.
Voters can expect to see President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump on the stage discussing topics from abortion, immigration and economics. Currently Independent Presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr. is not expected to be on-stage with the other candidates even though he filed an election complaint Wednesday alleging CNN is colluding with Biden and Trump to exclude him from a debate the network is hosting.
