Michelle Troconis Sentenced To 14.5 Years in Prison

news-kristine-bunch
(Stamford, CT) – Michelle Troconis, who was convicted for her involvement in the presumed murder of Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos, has been sentenced to 14 and 1/2 years in prison. Dulos — a New Canaan mother of five — disappeared in May of 2019 after dropping her kids off at school. At the time she was involved in contentious divorce proceedings with her estranged husband Fotis Dulos.

Troconis was technically sentenced to 20 years behind bars, but execution the sentence will be suspended after 14 and 1/2 years. The children of Jennifer and Fotis Dulos made victim impact statements in court ahead of the judge’s decision. Troconis teared up and appeared emotional while listening. Her own sister implored the judge for mercy on her behalf, saying Fotis Dulos was a manipulator and conman.

Jennifer’s body was never found, but last year a judge declared her officially dead. Fotis Dulos committed suicide before he could face charges — by leaving his car running while it was in his garage.

Troconis was Fotis Dulos’ girlfriend at the time. She could have received up to 50 years in prison for conspiracy to commit murder and the alleged cover up.
