(New York, New York) – An art exhibit called ‘The Portal’ that links Dublin and New York has reopened. A livestream connects the two cities together using cameras and screens on both sides to display the other cities in real-time. The exhibit opened earlier this month but shut down on May 14th due to “inappropriate behavior” on both sides of the Atlantic. One woman flashed her breasts through the portal, while another bystander in Dublin held up an image of the Twin Towers being attacked to the camera.

The Dublin City Council released a statement saying the attraction brought tens of thousands of visitors and digitally, gained billions of clicks. The statement also reminded the public to not touch or get too close to the portals. To prevent any more inappropriate behavior, the team in charge of the portal implemented new security features. It will now have 24/7 security guards on staff on both sides and if individuals step too close to the camera it will blur the stream for everybody on both sides. The livestream will also no longer run 24/7. Instead, the portal will be running from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m local time in New York, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time in Dublin.
