(Washington, DC) — President Biden is challenging former President Trump to debate him. Biden threw down the gauntlet on social media on Wednesday, claiming Trump lost two debates to him in the run-up to the 2020 election. His campaign says they accepted an invitation from CNN to debate former President Donald Trump on June 27th. The presidential debate would be much earlier than the traditional face-off, that normally takes place in the fall before the November election.
Former President Trump posted a response on Truth Social saying, “I am ready and willing to debate Crooked Joe at the two proposed times in June and September.” He also suggested doing more than two debates and holding them in “a very large venue” “for excitement purposes.”
