Biden Says He’s “Happy” To Debate Trump

President Biden said he'd be happy to debate Trump during an interview with Howard Stern. Hours later, Trump said he was willing to debate anytime, any place.

(New York, NY) – Will we see a debate between President Biden and former President Trump? The answer can at least be “maybe”. On Friday, Biden sat with radio host Howard Stern for an interview and said he’d be “happy” to debate Trump. That at least cracked open the door for a potential televised debate, as there’s been no indication recently that may happen.

Earlier in April, multiple news outlets signed on to a letter that asked both Biden and Trump to debate. As Trump left court in Lower Manhattan on Friday he challenged Biden to put his money where his mouth is and schedule the debate. He said he’d be willing to do it anytime, anyplace — suggesting they could even debate outside the courthouse where Trump is on trial.

Prosecutors claim Trump arranged for a hush money payment so that a porn actress would sign an NDA concerning a past affair. They’ve charged him with fraudulent record keeping as a result. The Biden campaign has not specifically said if there are any talks ongoing toward a potential debate.
