(New York, NY) — The new Forbes list of the world’s richest people shows there are more billionaires than ever. The updated list released this week shows nearly 28-hundred billionaires around the world. The U.S. has the most billionaires with 813, who together are worth nearly six-trillion dollars. Topping the list is French fashion mogul Bernard Arnault of  Louis Vuitton fame, who’s worth 233-billion dollars. Coming in second is Elon Musk with 195-billion dollars, followed by Jeff Bezos with 194 billion and Mark Zuckerberg with 177 billion.

Elon Musk, who was once the richest person in the world, fell to number. 2 on the list. His 195 billion dollars come from profits made from Tesla and SpaceX. Two companies he owns. Red Apple Media owner and operator, John Catsimatidis made the Forbes list.  The 75-year-old has a large portfolio, that includes supermarket chains and an oil refinery which he successfully brought out of bankruptcy.
